George was a physician living in Saint John, New Brunswick. He lived most of his adult life in Saint John and was very well respected in the community. George served in World War II in the navy on board the corvette, Orangeville. He attended Dalhousie University where he obtained his medical degree. He married Vera Crummey and had 4 children and Vera died in 1967. In 1968 he married Beverly Cooke and had 2 girls. He lived a great life.
