December the first brings advent to our house. To help count down the days until Christmas, Nadine wraps a small gift for the boys to open each day. Now with Devon being the only one home for most of December, he gets to open most of the treats. I just hope he saves some of them for his brothers.

It has been a wonderful Christmas in Durham again this year. The six of us visited Suzan and the girls in Halifax on the 23rd. We also picked up Colin at the airport that evening. Christmas Eve was spent putting the final touches on the presents and getting ready for the big day. For the 25th time I read "Twas The Night Before Christmas". The boys got out their stockings and we sat under the tree for pictures.


Christmas day was spent inside as we opened gifts that took us all day. We take our time and take breaks during the day to eat and watch the odd TV show. It is alot of fun and a great way to spend time together.
