We had a lovely meal and the company was great. It is always nice to have everyone home for the long weekend. Diane and Gordon were out and helped us consume the turkey and veggies. Diane, as usual, brought way to much desert but it was well received. This year our big meal was on Sunday which allows us to relax on the holiday.
Lots of left-overs and good times enjoyed by all.
Well I am just getting back to my postings. I wanted to share a great experience we had this October. Flor Valdes, a professor from Mexico was visiting the Community College for the month. We had the privilege of having Flor stay with us for a week. She visited most of the campuses and traveled between Yarmouth and Sydney. While she was with us we drove to some sites that I have never been to before. It is nice to have someone visit who you can show around. I took lots of pictures and have them on Flickr.com. She also helped me a little with my spanish...muchas gracias Flor.
