Well we made it safe and sound. The six of us had a great trip to London. We had a wonderful visit with Val and Terry. The 12 days on the bus tour was amazing. We visited Brussels, Lucern, Innsbrook, Venice, Rome, Nice, Lyon and Paris. It is a great way to see the highlights of Europe without the hassel of driving. Rome and Paris were my two favouite cities. The Roman Coliseum was perfect. You could just feel the history. For some pictures, Colin has some posted on his site. It is nice to be home, but I will go back.

We were two of the 50,000 soaking wet on-lookiers at the Rolling Stones concert in Halifax tonight. Nadine and I went to Halifax around 4:30 and met Tom Frazer. We doned our yellow rain slickers and headed for the commons. The metro was a non issue as we were able to get into the downtown area in a few minutes from the Dartmouth side.

We got there in time to watch the rapper Kanye West perform before the Stones took to the stage. The Rolling Stones were as great as ever. They played many of their old favoutites as well as a number of their newer songs. I was very impressed as thet too got soaked and played their hearts out.

All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed the music.
