I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and I hope it will be an extremely prosperous one. This New Year's Eve, Nadine, Devon and I went to the parade square in Halifax for the New Year's celebrations. We met up with Sue, Larry and the girls. Peter was invited to Adam's New Year's party and did not join us. Colin was on his way to England when the festivities occurred. He arrive safely and is now in London for a few days before heading to Greece for this semester of studies.
This must be one of the warnest January's on record. Today it reached 16ยบ celsius and is a beautiful sunny day. Devon was outside shooting hoops and I was able to finish bringing in the outside Christmas decorations. Days like today one starts to think about the warm summer days. This is also the day we were to have a Brazil student visit for two weeks, but due to problems with tha air lines it is not going to happen. He was hoping to see lots of snow....

What a difference a month makes. It is normally worse in January!

January 15th and a very warm spring day. Not as sunny as yesterday, but who's complaining. I finally posted my family tree on the web. It is included in the family tree section of this site. Please let me know your thoughts about it. If there is anything missing, or you want me to add anything just let me know.
The last of our babies turned over a new leaf today. January 22nd is a big day for Devon, however, today is the beginning of the teenager years. If he is anything like his brothers, I know this era will be a great one.
